History
Caughnawaga Cemetery dates to the eighteenth century and is also known as Fonda Cemetery. The Village of Fonda owns the cemetery, which contains hundreds of historic burials.

The cemetery is an important physical reference point for the Fonda family and associated Mohawk Valley families.
